Baked Ziti
This recipe appears in my cookbook and is one of our all time family favourites.
There was a lot of trial and error before I settled on this recipe, and it’s really all good. I thought it would whet your appetite for some post Passover pasta.
This is a cheesy, saucy, delight. Enjoy!

Baked Ziti
Serves: 6
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 pound ziti
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided into 1 cup and 1/2 cup
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions, and drain. Do not overcook!
- Mix sauce and ricotta cheese in a large bowl. Add ziti and larger portion of the mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Toss to mix well.
- Pour into lightly greased 9×13 baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake until thoroughly heated and lightly browned on top, about 40 minutes.
