BeerAndCheeseTasting

Beer and cheese go together so naturally. With similar flavour profiles and highly successful artisan types of both; they perfectly complement one another. This event will step you through beer and cheese basics to help you learn what makes a good pairing that suits your personal taste.

We’ve selected eight great Ontario craft beers. We also ran around Toronto to find an outstanding fromager. We did all this with one thing in mind: offering you a fantastic beer and cheese tasting experience. Eight Ontario craft beers paired with Canadian and international cheeses that will help you understand the harmonious flavour themes that exist in both.

With over a decade of experience travelling across North America and the world learning about craft beers, Gav has become somewhat of a beer aficionado. A huge believer in experiencing and supporting the local Ontario craft beer industry Gav will take you through an Ontario beer and cheese tasting explaining the history of the micro-beer scene and how brew pubs are changing the landscape of the North American beer drinker’s experience.

Since time immemorial humans have been pairing grilled food with refreshing beer. Today as the art of the grill and that of craft beer have reached a fevered pitch the options for pairing the two are at an all-time high. With over 80 craft brewers in Ontario, knowing which beer to pair with your backyard barbecue can be quite a task.

Gav will step you and your guests through a grill and beer tasting that will educate on the whys and hows of pairing great barbecue with great beer. Eight craft beers paired with a variety of grilled meat, vegetables and even a dessert course!

Take your appreciation for beer to a whole new level.
