As I mentioned recently on Twitter, I’ve decided that for the next few weeks I’m going to pay homage to some of my favourite bloggers by creating a custom sandwich in each of their honour.
First up, The @Avitable. If you’ve never read Adam’s site, head over and take a gander. Be prepared – it’s generally NSFW, insulting to some, and offensive to many. Adam is seriously funny though. Funny enough that he’s recently decided to follow his lifelong dream of a career in comedy. He’s currently got some great stand-up material online – you should check it out. Dude is funny – and who can question the make of a man who is chasing his dreams. We’re all cheering for you Adam!
I’m sure Adam has some deep-rooted childhood story that explains why he constantly has to show us all his ‘boys’ on a regular basis – but once you get past all the balls, Adam is truly one of the most genuine, wears-his-heart-on-his-sleeve people I’ve met online.
The @Avitable is a tribute to Adam – it’s got everything Adam stands for: Frank’s & beans, balsamic (pronounced balls’ hammock) onions and good old American yellow mustard.
To do the onions, I pan fried them with a bit of olive oil over medium-high heat. As they began to break down I added a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Enjoy!
